Chef Demos

​Try a tasty food sample and chat with the chef about how they made it and what local ingredients went into it. And don't forget to grab a copy of the recipe so you can try it out at home!​

Cooking Classes

Learn to cook tasty meals using fresh local ingredients! Our small-group cooking classes are taught by professional chefs and include hands-on instruction, discussions, and tasting.

Kenai Community Library: January 22nd, 5:30–7 pm

Chef Rachel Monson of The Goods will be leading this hands-on cooking class at the Kenai Community Library.

The Goods: January 25th, 2–4 pm

Chef Kenten Marin will be leading this hands-on cooking class at The Goods. Kenten will be making beet salad with candied pecans, goat cheese, roasted garlic puree and crispy bacon-rhubarb vinaigrette. YUM!

Kenai Community Library: February 26th, 5:30–7 pm

All are welcome to attend a hands-on cooking class by Joy Bartlett from Fresh 365 where we’ll learn about growing and cooking mushrooms! Walk-ins are welcome to watch the demonstration and join in the tasting. To cook alongside the chef, adults can register now to reserve a station by calling 907-283-4378.
