Local Food Directory
Attention Fishers, Farmers, Farmers Markets, and Local Food Businesses!
Register here for the Kenai Peninsula Local Food Directory, a project of Kenai Local Food Connection. Since 2011, our Local Food Directory has been the go-to resource for visitors, newcomers, and long-time residents looking for local food of all kinds. We post the directory at kenailocalfood.org and distribute it widely at locations and events throughout the Peninsula with help from the visitor industry, Chambers of Commerce, libraries, health care organizations, and participating businesses like yours.
The online directory features live links so that customers can find you quickly and easily. Categories include COTTAGE ENTERPRISES, FARMS, FARMERS MARKETS, FOOD & DRINK (i.e. eateries, catering, wineries), ONLINE MARKETS, RETAIL STORES, and SEAFOOD.
Advertising your business in the directory helps you reach customers, new and old, and encourages community support for a thriving local food sector. There is strength in numbers!
In addition to our farmers market rate ($75/market), the directory provides three listing options for individual businesses:
STANDARD BUSINESS LISTING – $30 – includes products you sell, where and when you sell them, and contact information for your business.
ENHANCED BUSINESS LISTING – $40 – includes all of the above, plus up to 50 characters of text to highlight what makes your business unique. It gives you flexibility and costs just a bit more.
$250 – includes your logo and a Standard or Enhanced business listing, if desired.
$500 – includes your logo, Standard/Enhanced business listing, PLUS your logo printed on posters for the popular Harvest Moon Local Food Festival.
