KLFC, the Alaska Farm Bureau, and Kenai Soil and Water Conservation District have been working hard to organize all of the Central Peninsula's growing and farming resources under one roof. With this fun event, we're hoping to educate and inspire local gardeners, farmers, and growers of all sorts!

8:30 am: Doors Open
9:30 – 10:30 am: Low Tunnels and Plastic Mulch with Casey Matney from UAF Cooperative Extension
10:45 – 11:45 am: Native Plant Germination with Josh Smith from Bear Mountain Forest Nursery
11:45 – 1:00 pm: Lunch Break (make sure to preorder your lunch!)
1:00 – 1:45 pm: Berry Seed Extraction and Germination Demonstration with Josh Smith from Bear Mountain Forest Nursery
2:00 – 4:00 pm: Connection Circuit: A fun opportunity to connect with your neighbors who are growing, gardening, grazing, foraging, and more!
5:00 pm: Doors Close
